HRH Metal

HRH Draw Together Lodestones of Talent.

It’s loud, proud, with a passionate crowd, and made of pure, solid metal. Yes, it’s HRH Metal, promising to be the best yet, to be held up at O2 Academy, Birmingham between 17th & 18th February 2018.

This legendary event, from Europe’s leading residential festival provider, brings together more metal than the Mines of Moria and forges in Asgard combined, and boasts a truly talent-packed line-up.

“Metal has always been part of our lives here at HRH,” says HRH boss Jonni Davis, enthusiastically, “and we listen to our community to make sure we choose the acts the fans want to hear. This year’s HRH Metal line-up is proof of that.”

Alestorm need no introduction as the Seven Seas’ leading purveyors of Pirate Metal. They’ll be bringing their vibrant piratical sound to HRH Metal: ideal for reeling, carousing, chanting and raiding any galleons that happen to be passing.

German heavy metal Grave Digger are famed for their up-tempo, ballsy tunes with heavy power riffs. “It’s some of the purest metal you’re apt to find these days, and that’s a good thing,” said Angry Metal Guy, and we concur.

Other great bands announced include: Evil Scarecrow, Memoriam, Elvenking, Power Quest, Haerken, Fury, Attica Rage, Desert Storm, Ballsdeep, Monument, Kaine, Cypher 16, Collibus, Fire Red Empress, Gravil, Warcrab, Footprints in the Custard, Dakesis, Lifer, Torous, Sister Shotgun, Skarthia, Elimination, Nightmare World, Trivax, Ironrat, The Mighty Wraith, Vice, Incinery, Metaprism, The Face of Ruin, Sodomized Cadaver, XIII, Masters Call, Wrath of the Gods, Ashen Crown, and Devils Playground.

That’s a whole lot of metal, and heavy enough to generate its own gravity!

HRH Sleaze

O2 Academy Sheffield 2nd-3rd September 2017.

Perish the thought that we’ll see Sleaze in an election year, but thanks to HRH (Europe’s leading residential festival provider) there’s going to be plenty: Music that is, at HRH Sleaze, and even more acts have been announced for this exciting debut event.

Filled with swagger, aggro, and pose, HRH Sleaze will debut at the O2 Academy in Sheffield between 2nd-3rd September, 2017. HRH keeps expanding its rock genre coverage, coupled with expertise in providing an exciting, high-quality festival experience, with proper accommodation. Sleaze is a popular genre, but surprisingly hasn’t been given its own showcase until now.

“Once again we’ve listened to the fans and taken our lead from them,” says HRH boss Jonni Davis, “Sleaze went down so well when it’s played at other HRH events that we’ve given it its own festival – HRH Sleaze – and we’ve been building up a seriously badass line-up. HRH likes it loud and Sleaze delivers quantity and quality: volume and talent in spades.”

HRH Sleaze

HRH have continued to seek out even more acts for and are adding the talents of the very popular Swedish power rockers Bai Bang (who’ve toured with Alice Cooper, Dio, and Ratt); the ever-dynamic American Spread Eagle from NYC, famed for heavy heavy guitars and cutting lyrics; female-fronted hard rockers Chasing Dragons; the down and dirty rock of Gasoline Queen, and The Cruel Intentions (described by Classic Rock as having “more swagger than a dozen penguins bloated on krill”).

These acts join the already impressive line-up of Sleaze talent:

Faster Pussycat are considered the very essence of Sleaze, and HRH are proud to announce the kings of the genre will be playing the debut festival. Music video by Faster Pusscat performing ‘You’re So Vain‘ directed by Rocky Schenck.

The acclaimed Vain (described by ‘Classic Rock’ as “unharnessed, haystack-haired heaviness from beginning to end”) will also be joining the party. Music video by Vain performing ‘Beat The Bullet.

Jizzy Pearl/Love/Hate will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of their album ‘Wasted In America’: Where better to do this than HRH Sleaze? Music video by Jizzy Pearl/Love/Hate performing ‘Blackout in the Red Room‘ live.

Other class acts already announced include:

Tyla’s Dogs D’Amour , Tigertailz, Crazy Lixx, Sister, Bulletrain, Stop Stop, Wildside Riot, Kaato, New Generation Superstars, Daxx & Roxane, Devilfire, New Device, 44 Caliber, and Superhooch. Watch Tyla + Dogs D’Amour perform ‘Satellite Kid’ live.

HRH Prog VI

HRH PROG VI ADDS AN AMAZING 15 FURTHER BANDS TO ITS LINE-UP! This year, HRH Prog will be serving up a double dose of Prog Rock goodness.

“We’ve just wrapped up an incredibly successful HRH PROG V,” explains CEO Jonni Davis “Now everyone is waiting to see who will be joining Carl Palmer’s ELP Legacy this November for the second instalment of HRH Prog. Well the wait is over! Originally, we were going to add a further 3 or 4 bands, but instead we’ve decided to go large and add another 15, just to get you well and truly in the mood! All these acts have been voted in by the HRH Prog community (the HRH way), so we’re now delighted to confirm the following for HRH Prog VI, with a few more to come shortly on top.”

Hard Rock Hell - Prog

As previously announced, Carl Palmer’s ELP Legacy will be playing a special tribute: ‘In Memory of Keith Emerson, Greg Lake, and John Wetton‘, honouring these legendary artists with a set of ELP material, and a couple of King Crimson tracks. Not to be missed.

Uriah Heep need no introduction to prog fans, having been leading players in prog rock since 1969 and still earning much respect and a devoted following.

Caravan have also been active since the late Sixties, and are known for blending psychedelic rock, jazz, and classical into their prog rock sound, along with their quirky, very English, lyrics.

Best known for their international hit ‘Hocus Pocus’, veteran rockers Focus bring Dutch prog to the HRH stage, whilst Von Hertzen Brothers bring modern Finnish prog to the party.

The Prog VI line-up will also be enriched by Magenta, Heather Findlay, Touchstone, Hawklords, Edgar Broughton, Krankschaft, The Fierce and The Dead, Third Quadrant, Tirith, Kepler Ten, and L’Anima, with another few acts yet to be added to this outstanding roll call of genre talent, as chosen by the HRH community.

HRH Prog VI will be staged back at Camp HRH, Pwllheli, Gwynedd, in North Wales, between 16th-19th November 2017.

Tickets are on sale now and can be booked by ringing Lisa on 0207 097 1521. Book early to avoid disappointment.
