Evil Scarecrow

Chapter IV: Antartarctica – Release Date 28th Sep2018.

It’s always a pleasure to hear that our favourite metal band, Evil Scarecrow, are releasing a new album – their fourth chapter to be precise and it goes by the name Chapter IV: Antartarctica!

I’m going to be super lazy here and quote their press pack, which accompanied the release of this new album, simply because whoever wrote it is far more qualified to do so, that’s why they get paid to do this sort of thing and I’m super tired after work!

‘Evil Scarecrow’s fourth album sees them take another giant leap forward with the release of this sumptuous monster of a record, blending metal and melodies with riffs, roars and razor wit, it is everything you would expect from these multi-talented and exceptionally creative musicians. Chapter IV: Antartarctica sees this unique band keeping their own surreal space-time continuum moving ever onwards & upwards, running as smoothly as only Evil Scarecrow can.

“You can order “Chapter IV: Antartarctica” from Amazon: But there’s more! The guys have been working on a special Digipack and Vinyl releases for those who like something a bit more special and you can order these from their new PLEDGE CAMPAIGN NOW.

Chapter IV offers up 10 new tracks for fans to listen to, which we’ve done several times already in the lead up to The Lost in Antartartica’s tour and plenty more times since! There’s several pinnacle moments throughout this album, the first for us is the track ‘Polterghost’ as it’s certainly one of our firm favourites!

Check out their spectacular video for this new single ‘Polterghost, which is out now and is the second track to be taken from the new album.

It’s worth mentioning, Dr. Hell, the bands lead vocalist/guitarist actually came up with the story line as well as directed the video for this track! If you check out the bands latest pledge campaign, you can actually buy pages from the original story board, all framed! How cool is that! There’s plenty of other cool items on offer too, like the puppets that were used for their video ‘Space Dementia’ at an eye watering price of £800!! As much as I love to support this band, even I can’t afford that much, however, someone has stumped up the cash for Dr. Hell, which I mentioned to Brother Pain, who jokingly thinks Dr. Hell has bought himself, just to show the rest of them he’s the most popular character in the band! Ha!

‘The Ballad of Brother Pain’ is probably going to turn into the bands ‘November Rain’ as it’s a real ‘electronic light in the air moment’. This track also seamlessly leads onto the bands epic 10 minute voyage of a track ‘Antartarctica’ which is an epic track indeed!

This album is yet another triumph for Evil Scarecrow and proves that these guys still have a lot left in that creative locker of theirs! Long may they continue to produce music such as this!
